About Dr Jayanth G Paraki and his Blog
Dr Jayanth G Paraki took his MBBS degree in 1984 from Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore, South India.
He did a 3 year General Surgical Residency training at St. Martha’s Hospital, Bangalore between 1987-90.
He followed this up with 2 more years of General Surgical Residency training at Manipal Hospital, Bangalore between 1990 and 1993.
Dr Paraki began independent research in the year 1994 in the philosophy and teachings of Dr Edward Deming. Deming’s System of Profound Knowledge (www.deming.org) began to influence him positively and he published two original research adaptations of the Deming System and its applications in Medicine at the 10th Annual Research Seminar of the Deming Institute and Fordham University, New York in the year 2004.
He is currently editing a Handbook of Research in Knowledge Management in Telemedicine for IGI Global, Pennsylvania.
